eGRCC GRADE INPUT REMINDERS

TO LOG IN:

  1. Go to the GRCC Home Page (http://www.grcc.cc.mi.us)
  2. Click on eGRCC
  3. Click on eGRCC LOGIN
  4. Click on LOGIN
  5. Enter: User ID (This is your employee ID proceeded by W0000)
  6. Enter: Password (If you forgot your password, contact the help desk @ 3688, the registrars office @ 4120, or your department secretary)
  7. Click on LOGIN

TO ENTER GRADES:

  1. Click on For Instructors, then Process Grade Roster
  2. Change TERM to the current semester of 1021 (Winter 2001)
  3. Click on Search, then scroll down, your classes will be listed in blue at the bottom of the screen
  4. Click on ANY part of a listed class and the class list should appear
  5. Enter a Grade in each grade input area (Do not use the space bar after entering a grade and F and A+ are not acceptable grades)
  6. After the last grade is entered click on the word SAVE at the bottom of screen (The Approval Status at the top of screen will still say Not Reviewed)
  7. NOTE: The status of your grades are determined by the grading options below. You must change the Approval Status of your grades to Approved once you are finished with all the grades so that they will be posted to the students' record.

  8. To change the approval status of grades, select the arrow of the drop-down list under Approval Status at the top of the class list, then click on the appropriate approval status. (Definitions for approval status are listed below.)

APPROVAL STATUS DEFINITIONS:

Not Reviewed. This status can be used to temporarily save grades on a daily basis. Then you must change it to Ready to Review or Approved. If you leave grades in this status they will be removed as the Registrar’s Office updates grade rosters on a daily basis. Do not expect your grades to remain in eGRCC for more than one day if they have this approval status.

Ready for Review. This is the option you would choose for partial posting of grades. The Registrar’s Office will run the Posting process daily. Anything saved in this status will be officially posted to the student’s record. You can still add the grades for students not posted.

Approved. When you complete all of your grading, change to this status and SAVE. The next time the Registrar’s Office runs the Posting Process, these grades will be officially posted to the students' records. Do not change to this status until ALL grades are entered and correct! This status does not allow you to go back and change grades.
