Blackboard - Basics for Faculty

The college provides faculty, staff, and students with access to Blackboard (Bb). Blackboard is a web-based course management system that can be used in a variety of ways. Faculty can use the simple "point and click" tools to create an online course Web site that includes content delivery, grading, assessment, and communication.

Blackboard Basics is a quick overview of using Blackboard in teaching, learning, and community building. This is a quick start session designed to get you on board with Blackboard f-a-s-t! This training highlights the following:

• Learn the basics of Blackboard!
• Reduce the time it takes to place materials on the Web!
• Increase student access to materials, assessments, and grades!
• Discover a new way to leverage web-based technology in teaching and learning!
