DLIT Brown Bag Series - Facebook and Web 2.0

Overview
Each month, we will invite faculty to informally discuss a topic related to distance learning and/or instructional technologies. We will encourage participants to share best practices and pitfalls. We'll do all this while demonstrating new tools for teaching and learning. 

• Brown Bag sessions will be in the DLIT Collaboration Space (125 Main).
• Bring your own lunch. We'll provide light snacks and drinks. 
• *If you can't come to us, we'll stream it live to your desktop! If you're teaching, you can watch the recording later.

• Actual uses of Facebook in and out of the classroom
• Setting up social tools in a way that protects privacy and doesn't interfere with work
