Word 2000 Level 2

Description

Students will learn how to create and control section breaks, tables, merges, styles, templates, macros and Web pages. This course meets Microsoft Proficiency Certification Guidelines.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Use section breaks to format a document and format text in columns (NACFAM CU5, CT7, CT8, CT9)
  • Create, modify, and use tables as page layout elements
  • Sort data within a table Store frequently used text or graphics as an AutoText entry (NACFAM CU9)
  • Create, modify, and apply Styles to change the appearance of text within a document
  • Create and use templates
  • Create, edit, and execute macros
  • Discuss Internet features, create and edit an HTML document, and preview a Web document in a browser

Who Should Attend

Individuals who have a good working experience with Word 2000 and are ready to build on existing skills and knowledge and learn intermediate features that will increase their productivity and efficiency.

Prerequisites

Participants in this course should have working experience with Windows 98, and understand basic terminology and hardware concepts in working with a personal computer. Completion of Word 2000 Level 1 or equivalent competency is required.
