PowerPoint 2000 Level 2

Description

Students will learn how to enhance presentations by working with animation, advanced graphics features, and multimedia to create interactive presentations. This course meets Microsoft Proficiency Certification Guidelines.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Create custom templates (NACFAM CT 7,CT 8, CT 9, CU9)
  • Enhance a presentation by using custom Clip Art, animation, and multimedia (NACFAM CT 7, CT 8, CT 9, CU9)
  • Work with embedded and imported objects by using Microsoft applications (NACFAM CT 7, CT 8, CT 9, CU9)
  • Build interactive presentations by creating hyperlinks and action buttons (NACFAM CT 7, CT 8, CT 9, CU9)
  • Customize the PowerPoint environment by modifying toolbars and using the Options dialog box
  • Duplicate slide content using various techniques
  • Create multiple custom shows, stored within the same presentation
  • Use AutoCorrect and Style Checker features
  • Take meeting minutes by using the Meeting Minder
  • Use the Pack and Go Wizard to run a presentation on another computer at a different location

Individuals who want to learn how to create visually dynamic and attractive slide show presentations, documents and audience handouts using PowerPoint.

Prerequisites

Participants in this course should have working experience with Windows 98, and have a working knowledge of PowerPoint. A basic understanding of word processing and spreadsheet concepts is very helpful.
