This fundamentals class will introduce symbols used in GD&T and how to apply them for complete product definition and functionality of the part.

Participant will be able to:
- Identify the components of a feature control frame. (NIMS Machining Skills - Level 1 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics #5; QS-9000 4.4.2.1)
- Recognize primary, secondary, tertiary datum’s
- Calculate maximum material condition
- Calculate least material condition
- Establish virtual condition
- Calculate appropriate tolerances
