Description

Course is designed to explain and review various types of math operations, simple calculator functions, and specific priorities of importance when dealing with certain math operations and formulas.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Determine the proper use of math tables (NACFAM MM1-4)
  • Perform English and metric conversion (NACFAM MM18)
  • Perform basic math calculations using signed numbers (NACFAM MM1-3, MM9)
  • Calculate tolerances (NACFAM MM9, MM22, MM24)
  • Calculate sum/average/range/median (NACFAM MM9)
  • Find a unknown using formulas (NIMS MACHING SKILLS LEVEL 1 (K/S/A/OC) #2)
  • Use basic algebraic equations (NIMS MACHING SKILLS LEVEL 1 (K/S/A/OC) #2)
