Injection Molding
Operator Training Level 1
Description
This course is an introduction to the basic concepts
of injection molding and the operation of the molding machine. The course
topics can be tailored to meet specific company requirements for the operating
personnel.
Outcome Summary
Participant will be able to:
- Operate the molding machine in a safe manner (NACFAM MF8, MF10, WH1-20)
- Exhibit an understanding of the machine components
- Identify the sequences of the molding cycle (NACFAM MF15)
- Demonstrate product defect identification in the production environment
(NACFAM QA2)
- Use work station documentation (NACFAM QA9, QA13, CT15, CT17, CT18)
- Exhibit proper product handling techniques (NACFAM MF15)
- Demonstrate the proper use of operator tools (NACFAM MF17, MF19)
