Injection Molding Machine Maintenance Training

Description

The machine maintenance class gives the learner a basic concept of the hydraulic and electrical systems in molding. Additional concepts include injection machine, extruder maintenance, platen maintenance and auxiliary equipment.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Exhibit hydraulic principles and concepts used in molding
  • Exhibit electrical principles and concepts used in molding
  • Perform screw and barrel maintenance (NACFAM WS 4, MF14, QA17)
  • Perform the Injection molding machine preventive maintenance (NACFAM WS 4, MF14, WS13, QA17)
  • Perform the auxiliary equipment preventive maintenance & operation (NACFAM WS 4, MF14, WS13, QA17)

Injection Molding Operator Training or 1 year of Injection Molding Maintenance
