Injection Molding Process Technology

Description

This course is designed to provide learners with an understanding of basic concepts and troubleshooting skills necessary for the technician.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Demonstrate safe practices in the work environment
  • Identify the location of all safety devices on the injection molding machine (NACFAM Mf8, MF10, WH 1-20)
  • Identify different injection molding materials (NACFAM MF15)
  • Demonstrate basic systematic injection molding practices
  • Demonstrate trouble shooting of common molding problems (NACFAM PS2, QA 17)
  • Demonstrate injection molding concepts (NACFAM WS 4, WS 13, MF12, MF 13, MF 14)
