Leading Effective Meetings
Description
This workshop focuses on recognizing when a meeting
is the best way to generate new ideas and solutions. Participants learn
how to plan, prepare and conduct an effective meeting. Methods for ensuring
good follow-up and dealing with difficult participants will also be explored.
Outcome Summary
Participant will be able to:
- List key communication principles (NACFAM CT5, 9, 13)
- State characteristics of productive/non-productive meetings
- Practice agenda writing
- Use a meeting planner
- Use effective feedback
- Practice handling difficult meeting situations
Who Should Attend
Employees required to lead or participate in meetings
regularly as a part of their job. This workshop emphasizes the contribution
of all meeting participants not just the leader.
