Problem Solving

Description

A workshop identifying problem solving principles. Real organizational issues are identified for use in class and on-the-job application.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Identify the difference between solving a problem and making a decision (NACFAM PS1-3;QA17)
  • Identify and apply problem-solving steps
  • Document problem-solving steps using established format
  • Present on-the-job projects to management (if desired).

Who Should Attend

All employees who are required to find the root cause of problems and implement permanent solutions to prevent reoccurrence. Especially useful to those who lead employee problem solving teams.

Length

12 hours or 14 hours (2 additional hours if management presentations are required)
