Project Management

Description

A workshop focused on practical, time saving project management skills. It provides learners with people and project management skills necessary for the successful completion of formal and informal projects. Learners develop work projects to get “hands-on” managing experience.

Outcome Summary

Participant will to able to:

  • Define informal and formal projects (NACFAM PC4)
  • Identify four stages of a project - definition, planning, implementation and completion
  • Identify importance of management - leadership, communication and motivation
  • Utilize project planning tools - Pert, Gantt and CPM Charts
  • Practice skills by using the tools and techniques on a ‘real’ project

Employees involved in project management who have sole responsibility for projects or lead a team effort to achieve project objectives.
