Work Keys ™

The Workplace Challenge

Today’s organizations are facing the same issues—working hard to stay ahead of the competition, keeping business efficient and profitable, and ensuring that the right people are staffing your positions.

The Solution

Work Keys, a nationally recognized workforce skill development system developed by ACT, may be just the solution for your organization is seeking.  This scientific workforce development system helps you:

·        Evaluate the key skills and levels of competency required for specific jobs in your organization.

·        Select the right employees based upon those needed skills.

·        Plan training programs for incumbent staff to strength and match job requirements.

Profiling the Job

Certified job analysts, training by ACT work with employers and incumbent employees (Subject Matter Experts) to determine critical tasks and identify the key skills and performance levels required for a given job.  A “Job Profile” is created based on the outcomes of the job analysis.

The Work Keys Skills

Once the job profiling has established the ratings for any or all of the following skills which are essential to any business, prospective and existing employees can be assessed for their current skill level relative to the job competency requirements.  All assessments are EEOC compliant.
