Process Capability Anaylsis

Description

Class content is in accordance with ISO 9000, ISO/TS16949 and QS 9000 requirements, as stated in quality system requirements and fundamental statistical process control as published by the AIAG.  Will include QS 9000 or ISO/TS16949 overview of requirements, a review of the basic concepts of statistics and the normal distribution, variables data process capability indices (Cp, Pp, CPU, CPL, Cpk, and Ppk) and ratios (CR,PR), and evaluate for measurement system error (GR&R).

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Analyze and calculate product characteristics for assessment of process capability (QS 9000 4.2.4, 4.9.2)

This program is intended for all who are responsible for quality system requirements for quality planning, advanced quality planning and control plans, and implementation of statistical process control.

Basic math proficiency and some SPC is helpful.
