Statistical Process Control Level 1

Description

Learners are introduced to basic properties and capabilities of statistical methods as applied to:  process control, process capability, recognizing special cause and common cause variation in variables and attributes data, and to react to information. Program content is in accordance with ISO 9000, ISO/ TS16949 and QS 9000 requirements. Class will include the basic concepts of statistics, the proper construction of selected types of control charts, “Out of Control” signals, and evaluate a process for capability using current indices Cpk, Cp.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Construct and use control charts
  • Calculate process capability (NACFAM QA 7-12)
