Short Run SPC

Description

Participants will learn to transform statistical formulas for traditional control charts so that they can be use to control processes and determine process capability. Production runs for as few as one unit can be analyzed for statistical control and process capability. Short run methods include 39 different control chart variations. Applications in aerospace, automotive and other industries can be found for these techniques.

Outcome Summary

Participant will be able to:

  • Establish short run SPC charts applicable to their operation (NACFAM QA7-12)
